TDP, Jana Sena back KTR comments on AP
Vijayawada, April 29: TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh on Friday tweeted that Telangana Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao has told fact about the prevailing situation regarding roads, power cuts and drinking water supply. He alleged that the YSRCP government had failed to provide basic amenities to people.
Agreeing with Nara Lokesh, Jana Sena official spokesperson Pothina Venkata Mahesh demanded that the AP government should show development in Vijayawada to the Jana Sena first and later to KTR. He mentioned that Vijayawada is facing power outages and people are complaining of receiving drinking water turned into colour, and roads are in bad condition.
Mahesh slammed the ruling state government for not releasing Rs 600 crore to the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC). “Commuters are facing inconvenience because of traffic jams in Vijayawada city for every five minutes,” he criticised.
However, Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath suggested that KTR and others from Telangana to visit Andhra Pradesh and examine roads, power and drinking water supply to domestic houses.
